With SnowHow China, we introduce the thrill and excitement of winter sports and alpine holidays to the fast growing community of Chinese snow enthusiasts.

SnowHow China is building a bridge between China and the Alps, the real cradle of winter sports. We invite all Chinese winter enthusiasts to discover the fun and excitement of winter sports in the Alps and to be part of the global community of snow lovers.

Close cooperation between the Alps and China will unleash the potential for growth in China's domestic winter tourism. Growth in enthusiasm for winter sports amongst the Chinese will, in turn, benefit global snow and winter communities. Our platform is operated by alpine winter insiders in close cooperation with Chinese media experts.

SnowHow China supports China in its goal of becoming a leading winter sports nation, and as host of the glorious 2022 Winter Olympics. We bring the real alpine winter lifestyle to the Middle Kingdom.

We foster know-how transfer, east-west partnerships and alpine winter excitement in the Middle Kingdom for the mutual benefit of China, the Alps, and the global winter sports community!

Fun with snow and ice are at the core of our activities! We believe in experience, enthusiasm, and learning-by-doing.

By contributing its specialist expertise, Snow-How China provides China’s own enthusiasts with the 'missing link' in this early stage of development of the country's winter tourism industry: “SnowHow”!

Hermann
Winkler

Hermann Winkler, born in 1977 in South Tyrol, was a former Senior Vice President Sales Asia for Swarovski and accrued more than ten years professional experience in China, during which he developed a huge network of Chinese and Alpine companies. He is founder and CEO of Snow-How China and the co-initiator of the C-Team (China Champions 4 Climate Change). He is also a founding member of Suedstern.org, a certified Al Gore Climate Reality Leader, and a passionate skier.

Bernadette
Larcher

Bernadette Larcher is a co-founder and managing partner of Snow-How China, and a branding & communication professional. Bernadette has vast experience in working with international, and especially Chinese media, and has a strong background in the areas of Luxury and CSR communication. Bernadette Larcher launched her own communications consultany in 2011 and specializes in professional and value-driven communications, brand reputation and strategic support for brands in sustainability. She was born into a gastronomy family in the Austrian Alps and is a passionate backcountry skier.

Zhang

Annie Zhang, Chinese partner of SnowHow China. She is founder of TMAG Communications, used to be  Editor-in-Chief of Travel + Leisure China, leading travel magazine , and expert to travel industry, media and social media. As the China winter sports market, she is new to the area, but with full of great confidence and passion.
